Professional Beginnings

Atayev commenced his footballing journey at the age of six, receiving initial coaching from Atamyrat Jumamuradov at the Youth Sports School in Bagyr, Ahal Region.[3] His professional career began in Ashgabat. Between 2007 and 2010, he represented FC Talyp Sporty, making 32 league appearances and scoring 2 goals.[3]

Domestic Successes

The first half of the 2011 season saw Atayev playing for FC Ashgabat. He then moved to FC HTTU, contributing to their first Turkmenistan Cup victory in the latter half of the season. In 2013, he was part of the championship-winning squad for the รokary Liga.[3]

From 2014 onwards, Atayev became a key player for Altyn Asyr FK. During his tenure, he secured multiple Turkmenistan League titles (2014, 2015), the 2015 Turkmenistan Cup, and the 2015 Turkmenistan Super Cup. Debut and Captaincy

Atayev represented Turkmenistan at the youth level, participating in the Asian Football Confederation's Pre-Olympic Tournament for the Olympic team.[3] He made his senior national team debut on January 27, 2012, in a friendly match against Romania.[12] He has since served as a captain for the national team, notably from 2015 onwards.[13][14]
