📈 Phased Expansion and Development

The mall underwent several significant expansions throughout its history. A notable extension in November 1970 added approximately 1,900 square meters, introducing a fourth anchor tenant. Further growth occurred in July 1974 with a new supermarket and an additional retail space, increasing the mall's total area. A third major expansion in November 1979 significantly enlarged the complex to over 19,000 square meters, incorporating new stores and a department store.

A comprehensive remodel in 1992 modernized the mall's layout, introduced a food court, and added a rooftop car park. This period saw many retailers relocate within the expanded premises, though anchor tenants like Farmers maintained their original locations. 🚀 Continued Expansion and Performance

Further development occurred with the opening of phase one of a new $75 million expansion on 28 May 2009. This expansion introduced approximately 40 new retailers and an additional café court, alongside another cinema screen at the Hoyts Multiplex. The concurrent construction of a four-level, 400-space car park building was completed in January 2009, increasing the mall's total size to approximately 54,000 square meters. In the full year 2018, the mall reported annual sales of $535.6 million.
